Marching Band Ends the Year by Cheering on Girls on the Run

The Atholton Marching Band closed out their year by motivating runners during the Girls on the Run 5k.

Allied Softball Hits it out of the Park

Every Tuesday and Thursday, the cracking of bats can be heard ringing in the gym as Atholtons Allied Softball team faces off with their foe. Commandeered by club sponsor Mr. Stuppy and manager Cameron Okolita, the club leaves it all on the field in every game.

Taking the Plunge!

To infinity and below! Senior Jessie Zinderman is taking on the Super Plunge at the Sandy Point State Park on Saturday, January 19th. After years of participating in the Polar Bear Plunge, Zinderman has pledged to do the Super Plunge this year, where she will jump into the freezing water once every hour for a full 24 hours.

Chinese Class Through the Screen

Imagine being taught by a hologram. A projection of your teacher stands in front of the class–you can see and hear her teaching, but she is not really there. Students in Ms. Liu’s sixth period Chinese class have a similar experience. Their teacher is not in the Atholton classroom, but rather is live broadcasted to multiple Howard County schools from Reservoir High.
