The King and Queen have been overthrown and a new Homecoming Court is in town. On October 5th, Atholton joined the ranks of trailblazing schools across the country who have switched from a boy-girl Homecoming court to one unbounded by gender restrictions.

One of Mr. Morfoot’s Spanish II classes was offered the opportunity to meet President Obama at the White House during the welcoming of the Italian Prime Minister.
Since the 1990s, Howard County Public Schools have begun the student school year in late August, either a week or two weeks before Labor Day weekend; however, this might no longer be the case for next school year.
